#jori #jorigif #you know what makes tori's compassion and patience for jade later on so important? #the fact that she's capable of holding her own against jade #she can and has pushed back and refused to bend to jade's desires #but despite their bad blood tori wants to understand jade and she wants jade to understand her #so she picks her battles-- she recognizes when jade needs to be challenged and when she needs to be the bigger person #it can be muddled and complicated but she eventually falls into her groove and that really throws jade out of her own #she's had to learn to deal with opposition and clashes of power and not getting her way #and as soon as she gets comfortable with that the pendulum swings the other direction #suddenly her war tactics become ineffective in the face of someone who will accept punishment on her behalf #someone who will give without taking and place jade's happiness above her own #tori seems to rip through the paper roles jade has assigned the paper players in her environment #tori keeps her on her toes and makes her own up to her own faults in two vastly different ways #and i just... i don't know i'm talking too much but i really dig it #^ #jori: i wouldn't have actually killed you #we will be victorious
